Karen Guo

Karen has been in the Financial Services industry for over 15 years.  As a Financial Representative and Director of Business Development, Karen’s focus is primarily on identifying the unique needs of each market and finding the right talent to serve these fast-growing communities and helping small business owners to thrive in any economic environment.  Prior to joining Greater Hudson Financial, Karen has had an esteemed career in financial services from being a top financial advisor to her most recent roles as Director of the Chinese Market – East Coast for other top mutual life insurance companies.  She has extensive knowledge in financial services as well as new market development.

Through working with top advisors and overseeing the domestic Asian Markets in the past decade, Karen has been able to connect financial resources for many transnational clients and many fast growing but underserved communities.  She believes that public education on the importance of financial literacy and financial strategies are the keys to empower these communities and the individuals they serve.  Thus, creating the foundation of true community empowerment and generation legacy.

Outside of work, Karen serves as a board member of a non-profit organization Greater Roslyn Association of Chinese Enrichment, where she works with a group of youth volunteers on mentorship and tutoring programs. She is also highly involved in community initiatives in her Long Island Chinese community and school PFA. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, reading, and traveling with her husband and two children.
